Jasper's Interview

Mok shifted the stack of files around his desk, sorting out the ones he had yet to interview and those who'd accepted or refused. Not long now. It was the home stretch. He just had to hang on a little longer. The guards opened the door and ushered in his newest interviewee, whom he greeted the same as any other. "Welcome! Please, have a seat." Mok told him.

Jasper gave the guards a flirty wink, causing the guards to flush a bit more as they ushered him quickly into the room. Typical. And so easy. A wink could cause this place's guards blush and flustered. Well then. This place needed some new guards if they didn't want him to escape due to those guards being so easy to flirt with. He bet that if he had the time to flirt with them for about an hour, they'd agree to his bargain to get him out. For a price that is. Like eager puppies wanting a treat for their good deed. "Might want to get rid of those two or you'll regret it soon." Jasper remarked with a devilish smirk.

Jasper cast a glance over at the man at the table, already getting the notion that this man really cared about only himself and his looks. He strolled over to the seat, sitting down in the chair. He blew a strand of his crimson hair out of the way of his sharp emerald green eyes, which gazed over his surroundings before focusing on Mok. "Care to explain why I'm here. And not in jail?" Jasper questioned the other male, crossing his arms over his chest.

"They know to perform as expected and nothing else." Mok told Jasper as he walked in. He folded his hands on his desk, the polite smile on his lips feeling stuck by now. He couldn't even feel his face anymore. "You're here because the government would like you to participate in a competition for the chance to win nine hundred thousand dollars and the dropping of all charges against you. This competition will last about a year and will be televised across the nation. Do you accept?"

Jasper rolled his eyes in annoyance. "Sure they do. But they'll be easy to manipulate." he remarked, shrugging his shoulders. It wasn't that hard to see who were the kind to manipulate. Although there had been only one victim of his that he couldn't manipulate. And that victim was now dead. The deal that the man proposed to him was a better idea than finding the safest male in prison and keeping his ass away from the other prisoners. "Sounds fantastic," Jasper muttered in a sarcastic tone. The tilted his head at the man before narrowing his eyes. "No one will get killed or raped on here, right?" he asked in a serious tone.

Mok frowned at the insinuation that his guards--hand-picked of course--would be so easily manipulated. They'd been around better criminals than Jasper. They could handle him. "No. No killing or raping. Injuries are allowed during the challenges as sabotage, but nothing fatal. We do not take kindly to sexual assaults around here. Maiming is one thing, raping is another entirely." Mok said firmly. "If there are any attempts, they will be dealt with the harshest means."

Jasper felt a bit relieved that rape attempts would be dealt with, so his ass was safe hopefully. He snickered a bit as the male's smile dropped into a frown. "Good. that fake smile of yours is gone." Jasper remarked happily, grateful that it was now a frown. That smile seemed so strained. So the frown was more settling.

Jasper smirked darkly at the thought of harming those who wanted to harm him. Perhaps this would be at least better than prison. Well at least he knew that he wouldn't get screwed. "Then I'm in then." he commented, agreeing to the competition.

"Good." Mok nodded, adding his file to the others. "Now, you will be allowed one phone call when you arrive. If there is any difficulty in reaching anyone, I will assist you if I can. You're allowed five items to take with you; an outfit will count as one." He was getting so tired repeating himself today. Maybe it'd be easier if this was just automated or something.

Jasper shrugged his shoulders, rolling his eyes at the hint of exhaustion in the male's tone. It seemed that the man had been repeating the same stuff all day. Well good news for him, Jasper didn't want to stay any much longer in this room with him. He nodded his head in acknowledgment of what the man was saying. "Sure thing. I'll try to to get to you back on what I want to bring to this place and who I want to call." Jasper remarked in a sarcastic tone, not much having care about either of the things. All he wanted was to get up and out of here. "Are we finished now? Or you got something else to repeat?" Jasper sighed in irritation, tilting his head at the other male.
